Life

Since everyone else is doing this, I thought that I would give this a try. Our family has been really busy with summer vacation. We have had fun not having to move this summer (the first non-moving summer in three years). But nonetheless we love the adventure that the Army brings into our lives. Who knows where out next adventure will land us?

We have met so many new friends and ran into so many old friends along the way, it has shown me just how small the world really is and how we are all connected together in an intricate web. It amazes me just how many people have come into our lives and have changed them in their own little ways. Everyday I learn something new, and everyday I find something else that amazes me.

I have learned that parenting is a lot of work and worth every second of it! That kids change very quickly and that even once they are grown they still sometimes act like kids. I have also learned that saying "no" is harder than saying "yes" but that it helps develop little lives into greatness. Most importantly I have learned that forgivness is possible from our loving Father. He has shown me that time and time again through my children. Aren't they great? They think that you walk on water when you barely know how to swim. And certainly if my children can see greatness in me and can forgive my weaknesses then all the greater is the grace of my Lord.
